Mark was a proud father to his two daughters, Marsha Poehler from Katy, Texas, and Melissa Tadlock from Bellville, Texas. He found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to seven grandchildren, who will forever hold dear the memories and lessons he imparted.

Adding to his legacy, Mark is also survived by his siblings: brother David Poehler from Waterville, Minnesota; brother Jason Poehler from Idaho; and sister Tammie Poehler from Idaho. He held a deep bond with his family, which provided him strength and happiness throughout his life.
