Paul Christopher Poehler, age 58 of Dandridge, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2025.
Born in Minnesota, Paul graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama. He later attended Georgia State University; and worked for many years in the school's IT Department. After moving to Tennessee, he found work as a driver for ETHRA before declining health forced him to retire. Paul had a ferocious love of family; and truly enjoyed gathering with them for an annual reunion in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Paul is survived by his parents, Sandy & Dave Poehler; brother, Scott (Dee Anne) Poehler; as well as his nephew, Brittain Poehler; niece, Lilly Grace Anne Poehler; two beloved cats, Lizzy & Abby; and numerous extended family members from across the country.
Rev. Dr. Kristen Burkhart will officiate the Celebration of Life; which will be held at 1PM Friday, October 3, 2025 at First United Methodist Church of Dandridge. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to FUMC Dandridge.
Farrar Funeral Home is honored to serve the Poehler family.
