It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Anthony Roe, who left us on January 27, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on February 14, 1975, Mark was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend.
Mark had a passion for life that shone through in everything he did. He loved farming, fishing, and hunting, and he was an incredibly skilled metalworker. Whether he was out in nature or crafting something special, he always found joy in being with his family, who were his greatest treasure.
Mark is survived by his wife, Kaycee Roe, and their wonderful children: Gage Roe, Jax (Marissa) Roe, Violet Roe, Hunter Roe, Scarlett Roe, and Pearl Roe. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Ronnie Roe and Vickie McMurray, his siblings-Jody (Chasidy) Roe, Buffy (Kipp) Richardson, Nicole Messer, Kadie Roe, and Cory (Sheena) Chamberlin; aunt Lisa Zius (Mark); great aunt Sue Burris; nieces and nephews: Klover Richardson, Boston Richardson, Kambri Richardson, Haley (Trey) Williams, Asha Roe; cousins: Luke Zius, and Laney Zius.
Mark was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Elma Burris, maternal grandparents Anita and Roger Chamberlain, paternal grandparents Claude W. and Alma Sue Roe, and his birth-father L.J. Shahan.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Mark's life on Sunday, February 2nd. They will receive visitors from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Ridge Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A special celebration of Mark's life will take place at 4 PM at the funeral home, led by Rev. Taz Reid. Following the service, Mark will be laid to rest at Hiwassee Memorial Gardens.
