Mark Shallo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes - Dormont on Oct. 30, 2025.
Age 59, of Brookline, passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday October 28, 2025, surrounded by family. He was the youngest child of Louis C. Shallo, Sr. and the late Arlene (Pattinato) Shallo. Beloved husband of Karen (Christian); dedicated and loving father of his brave sons Marco and Luke; cherished brother of Deborah (Richard) Fitzgerald, Louis C. Shallo and Pamela (James) Hanratty; Brother-in-law of Kelly (Greg ) Barr and Edward (Ellen) Christian. He was a graduate of Seton LaSalle High School. Attended Dean Tech and became a Master electrician for 36 years. Mark was a hard working committed family man and a loving father. He loved spending time with his sons fishing for hours in their special spot. He saw beauty in all nature through tending to his garden and hunting since he was a young boy and liked sitting around the fire telling stories. He wanted nothing more than to spend time at camp cruising around on his golf cart and laughing with family and friends. He had a servant's heart, loyal, kind, and so much more - a true treasure. Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers. Family and friends welcome Friday, October 31, 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm at 2630 West Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA, 15216, 412-531-4000. A funeral service will be held Friday at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, plants or family donations are appreciated.

Karen, Marco and Luke, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Mark from my time as your neighbor. At times he was a little wild and crazy. He had a great sense of humor but mostly his love for you all was unmatched. My deepest condolences, Stefanie Perri.
