Mark Alexander Versaw

Mark Alexander Versaw, 63, of Long Island, NY, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, in Barberton, Ohio, with family by his side. He was born March 26, 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA., to parents Arnold L. Versaw and Patricia J. (Daniel) Newell Tirabasso and was raised in Lake County, OH. He was a graduate of Riverside High School and furthered his education at Lakeland College, Kent State University, American Military University, and Pace University. Mark was a Special Education teacher, wrestling coach and directed student productions within the NYC school district. He enjoyed performing arts and comedy, wrestling, and playing music and singing, especially with his family which was one of his greatest joys. Mark is survived by his former wife, Lynnie; children Morgan Versaw, Isaac Versaw, Luke Versaw, Chelsea Versaw, and Mason Versaw; grandchildren, Henry Lewis, and Ruby Lewis; siblings, Lee (Deborah) Versaw, Denise Campbell, Pam Tirabasso, Patty (Brian) Berardi, and Dan (Denise) Tirabasso; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Monday, August 26th, from 4-6pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio, 44041.
