Mark Alfred Werner, 82, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on May 27, 2025. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 8, 1943, to Vincent and Vivian Werner. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Garner, Lori Miller (Eric), and Natalie Werner; his cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsay, Beza, Auden, and Flora; siblings, Ann Lasher Niznik (Andy), Andy Werner (Barbara) and Connie Werner Brace (Daryl); many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, his sister, Clare, and his brother, Mike. He grew up on the Northside, where he loved to fish in the Trout River with his siblings. Played sports at Tallulah Park with his brothers and friends. Mark attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and was awarded the Eagle Scout Badge, the Ad Altare Dei Medal, and the Order of the Arrow. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, FL, in 1961 and from Florida State University in 1965. While at FSU, he was a proud member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Mark built a full and meaningful life as a realtor and developer, but most importantly, he was a proud and loving father to his three daughters. Mark will be remembered for his great sense of humor, deep devotion to his family, and the steadfast friendship he offered to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 am in Quinn Shalz Funeral Home with Father John Reynolds as Celebrant.
