Mark Kevin Wilson

Mark Kevin Wilson, 65, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in UK Kings Daughters Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born May 2, 1960, in Huntington, West Virginia, and he was the son of Donald and Margaret Sperry Wilson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Wilson and two sisters, Brenda Cremeans and Mary Ward. A devoted husband, father, and Paps, and faithful servant of the Lord, Mark was a cherished member of Barrett's Creek Baptist Church and retired from Sysco Food Services after a lifetime of dedication and hard work. Mark also coached girls' soccer and basketball, impacting the lives of many for several years. Mark faced every challenge with strength, faith, and determination, fighting until the very end. He had a heart for others, always willing to lend a helping hand or share advice - whether people wanted to hear it or not. Known for his tireless work ethic, generosity, and devotion to God, he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Mark shared a special, joyful bond with his grandchildren, Brody and Kinsleigh, who had a way of talking "Paps into anything they wanted," filling his days with laughter and love. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 36 years, Dana Wilson; his children Nathan (Tiffany) Wilson, Brittnie (Jon Burroughs) Wilson and Taylor (Jason) Snead; and his beloved grandchildren Brayden, Wyatt, Carter, Maggie, AJ, Jacob, Brody, and Kinsleigh. Mark's family, friends, and community will forever remember him for his unwavering love, guidance, and the joy he brought into their lives

Funeral services will be conducted, at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at Malone Funeral Home, with Bro. Brian Bush, minister. Burial will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
