Debbie Ann (Dickerson) Hignite, age 71, of
Grayson, Kentucky, peacefully departed this life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 3, 1954, she was the cherished daughter of the late Murl and Adeline Hall Dickerson.
Debbie's professional journey began shortly after high school when she joined the Carter County Food Stamp Office. Her dedication and passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling career as a paralegal for Legal Services, under the guidance of Robert M. Caummisar. A devoted member of the Grayson Church of God of Prophecy, Debbie found joy in her faith and community. One of her greatest joys was baking cookies with her beloved granddaughter, creating sweet memories that will be cherished forever. Debbie also shared a special bond with her shopping companion, Hannah McMillen, a friendship that blossomed since Hannah's birth and brought much joy to her life.
