Mark Zimmerman, a man defined by his devotion to family and his love for animals, passed away in his home on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Long Beach, Mississippi, at the age of 60.

He was born on October 23, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio. After retiring from his painting business, Mark’s life was centered on the simple joys of spending time with his loved ones, showering attention on his many pets, and the satisfying work of transforming a space into a beautiful home.

Mark was preceded in death by his soulmate, Patricia Baker; and his beloved dogs, Henry and Libby.

He leaves behind his daughters, Lauren Byrd (Justin) and Raechel Zimmerman (Stephen); and his loving parents, Robert and Earline Mausser. He is also survived by his sisters, Dawn Davis (Christopher) and Kris Norton (Bradley); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Carter, Avery, Timothy, Kace, Tatum, Westley, and Myles. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Kaylee, Alex, James, and Sean; and his cherished dogs, Nick, Meister, Lupa, Betsy, and Sugar.
