Marleen Wischer Obituary

Marleen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a tremendous and deep faith. She was very active at Holy Angels Parish for many years and could often be found helping out where she was needed. Marleen was a regular in the Adoration Chapel on Monday nights both at Holy Angels and then at St. Frances Cabrini Church.
She loved working on her house and in her yard and enjoyed spending time at their cabin up north. Autumn was one of her favorite times of the year as she enjoyed looking at the fall colors.
Marleen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard, her 3 daughters: Kristin (Rich) Rittmann of West Bend, Kerrie (Eric) Padget of West Bend and Kelly (Nick) Nordquist of West Bend, 5 grandchildren: Spencer, Jordan, Cole, Cameron and Ainsley and her beloved Golden Retriever Mildred. She is further survived by her very close sister Jane (Brian) Nielsen of Mequon, her brother Ron (Geri) Aubrey of Theresa, her sister Mary Beth (Michael) Abel of Amberg and her sister Dawn (special friend Jim) Sodemann of Fond du Lac, her brother-in-law Kenneth (Carolin) Wischer of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Jane Aubrey, her father and mother-in-law Vernon and Ruth Wischer, her sister Judy (Larry) Verzal and her sister-in-law Betty Stauber.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend with burial following in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Holy Angels School are appreciated.
