Born: June 9, 1944 | Died: August 19, 2025
Marlene Ledbetter Gamble age 81 of Walland, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 peacefully at her home in West Miller's Cove. Marlene loved working in her garden, flower beds, and enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing. She was well known for her apple stack cakes and chocolate pies. She was a member of West Miller's Cove Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, Dorothy & Earnest Ledbetter, siblings, Ray, Charles, and Billy Ledbetter, Joyce Rickard and Shirley Martin. Survivors include: children & spouses, Terri (Trent) Shields, Ken (Karen) Keller, and Rebecca Perkins; grandchildren, Tanner Shields, Tara (Hunter) Weismore, Dillon, Luke and Lauren Keller, Jordan Perkins; great-grandchildren, Ella Weismore, Hunter Keller, Liam & Liberty Johnston; sisters, Louise Lawson, Cookie Russell and Jean Dotson; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: West Millers Cove Missionary Baptist Church, 317 West Millers Cove Road, Walland, TN 37886 or Miller's Cove Cemetery Association, PO Box 213, Walland, TN 37886. Friends may come by the funeral home and sign the register book from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Smith East Hall. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 25, 2025 at West Miller's Cove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
