Marlene A. (Pedro) LeMar born in Plymouth May 19, 1950, passed away on March 11, 2024.
Marlene was a graduate of Plymouth Carver High School, Class of 1968. For many years, she worked for the town of Plymouth as the Assistant Town Clerk and later moved to the Department of Public Works.
She also worked at the BID Plymouth in the Emergency Department and Medical Records Department.
Marlene was a Justice of the Peace and was well known to the many couples she married. This was a
position she loved. Marlene also ran "Marlene's Tasty Bakery". Family and friends remember her famous "Auntie Bea's chocolate cake", a secret family recipe as well as many other delicious desserts. her husband Carl remembers her fudge was a favorite.
Marlene was a fierce, loving and kind person. She held her family and friends close to her heart. No matter what life threw at her, she persevered and found the path forward. She was selfless and always thinking of how she could help others. We will miss her thoughtfulness and sentimental moments we shared with her. She would send greeting cards to friends and family for all occasions never forgetting anyone.
Marlene loved to travel with her travel friends, Marlene loved the beach, you could find her at Big Sandy Pond all summer long, this was her happy place. Also, she loved shopping and spending time with Carl.
Marlene was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Beatrice (Hutchinson) Pedro.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl, her life-long friend Paula Jesse, her godson she helped raise as her own Evan Weeden, his wife Holly, daughter Hadley and her beloved cousins including Linda Blake McGuire and Barry Hutchinson.
Visitation with the LeMar family will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 3:00-7:00PM, in the
CARTMELL-DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, 373 Court Street (next to Cordage Park) Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, Marsh 22, 2024at 11AM, followed by
Interment in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations
To Three Harts Farm-Nathan Hales Veterans Outreach Center, 232 Beaver Dam Rd. Plymouth, Ma. 02360 or to a charity of your choice

I met Marlene at BID Plymouth in 2003 and she ended up marrying my husband and I that same year. She was very friendly and kind, a pleasure to know and she will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to the LeMar family. So sorry for your loss.
