ELIZABETHVILLE - Marlene Lee Lesher, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 11, 2025, at her home.
She was born on April 19, 1937 in Locust Dale, PA the daughter of [the late] Alkana and Minnie (Yarnell) Wagner.
She was a retired Shoe Factory Inspector and worked for the former Mars Shoe Co., Elizabethville.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Henry I. Lesher, Sr. ; 3 children, Donna L. (Rodney) Moore, Dover DE, Henry A. Jr. (June) Lesher, Elizabethville and Robin L. Lesher (Ronald Livingston), Harrisburg; Sisters, Vale Middleton, Elizabethville, Dale (Michael) Kratochwill, Coxsackie NY; 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jolene Klinger and siblings, Elizabeth Glessner,
John Wagner, Neal Wagner and Dee Wagner.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville. She was also a Sunday school teacher for 20 years and former church board member.
She enjoyed doing ceramic's, puzzle games, reading, and gardening. Going to baseball games especially when her grandson and great-grandson was playing.
There will be a visitation held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd. Elizabethville on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10-11 AM. Memorial services will start at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes. Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral. We are honored to serve this family at our Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Elizabethville location. To sign the guestbook go to www.minnichfuneral.com.
