Marlene A. Machon, age 88, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at The Renaissance Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
A Private family memorial service was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Burial rites will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Marlene was born on August 5, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to the late Charles "Chuck" and Linda (Wunrow) Reber. She married Robert "Bob" Machon on June 26, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Marlene loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in all of their events. In her spare time, Marlene enjoyed playing cards, games, and puzzles, as well as listening to music. She also enjoyed camping up north with her family, and spending time down south in Gulf Shores, AL. The two most important things in Marlene's life were her family, and her faith in God.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Bob Machon; children, Douglas (Jen) Machon, Vicki (Jim) Kundinger, David (Laurie) Machon, and Michael (Deb) Machon; grandchildren, Lindsey (Darren) Roginski, Luke Machon, Brian (Kara) Machon, Katie (Darin) Bubla, and Jessica (Braiden) Bechard; great-grandchildren; Brooklyn, Hope, Piper, Phoenix, Pierce, Maggie, and Annie; sister, Pauline Zanow; nephew, Jeff (Trina) Zanow, and their children Mackenzie and Hannah; as well as best friend, Kathy Larson.
Marlene was preceded in death by her Parents, Charles and Linda Reber, and her in-laws, Otto and Beatrice Machon.
Marlene's family would like to thank the entire staff at The Renaissance Assisted Living, and Compassus Hospice for their kindness and care of Marlene and the entire Machon family.
