Marlene D. Oachs, age 90, of Mankato, died on April 11, 2024 at Laurel’s Edge.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Sterling Cemetery.
Marlene was born on August 17, 1933 in Mankato to Ervin and Olga (Tillman) Westberg. On March 22, 1952, Marlene was united in marriage to Willis “Augie” Oachs. Marlene was a loving, caring, giving person and will be missed.
Marlene is survived by her children, Cheryl (Phil) Weston, Jeff (Jane) Oachs, Mike (Eileen) Oachs, Jodie (Jim) Kietzer, and Brent Oachs; grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Julie, Jesse, Jackie, and Josie; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Gladys Mulvaney, Shirley Westberg, Gary (Mary) Westberg, Les (Wanda) Westberg, Dennis (Connie) Westberg, and Nancy Johnson (special friend, Jeff Gimmer). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dana; daughter, Robin; infant daughter; and siblings, Gayle Westberg, Bonnie Kenling, and Geraldine Mulvaney.
