SALAZR, Marlene. May 1, 2023. Age 85. Beloved wife of Donald for 67 incredible years. Loving mother of Donnie, Lori Charbonneau, and Marie (Frank) DeMartino. Proud and adored Grammy of Chris and Jill. She was predeceased by her sisters, Reggie (Thom) Caprara, and Beverly Pitlanish. She will also be greatly missed by loving nieces and nephews.
Marlene was a longtime active member of St. Therese of Lisieux Church, she was in the choir, bible study, and was a Comforting Minister. To know Marlene was to love her, she was more than happy to help anyone and everyone that needed it. Once she had her fresh lipstick on and grabbed her purse she would be ready to go. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved any and all animals.
Funeral Wednesday Instate from 11:30am until time of 12pm Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 48115 Schoenherr Rd., Shelby Twp, 48315 (Btw. 21 & 22 Mile).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to Autism Speaks (https://www.autismspeaks.org/?form=donate) or https://cardinalhospice.net/cardinal-wishes/. Interment, White Chapel Cemetery. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com
