Marlon Demond Goodloe was born on October 24, 1972 in Florence, Alabama to Gwendolyn Ann Goodloe and the late Phillip Dane Goodloe.
Throughout his life he resided in many places including Germany, Alaska, Korea, Ft. Campbell Kentucky before their move to Colorado Springs where he has lived for the past 30+ years.
Marlon was known for his quick wit, contagious laugh, and deep love for his family. Whether he was telling a story, making a room erupt in laughter, or quietly checking in on those he cared about, he had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved.
His faith was a steady part of his life, grounding him and guiding the way he lived - with heart, humor, and compassion.
He found joy in watching college football and loyally cheering on Auburn University (WAR EAGLES).
He also loved shopping for his next GQ-worthy outfit, was a true watch and cologne connoisseur, and enjoyed trying different foods - though nothing ever compared to his mom's home-cooked meals.
Marlon is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Goodloe; his brother, Phillip Goodloe II, and sister-in-law, Gina Goodloe; his children, Dalvin Goodloe, Kenya Goodloe, and Damara Goodloe and her husband, Zachary Peterson; his grandchild, A'Veil Goodloe-Adams; his nephews, Bertrand McKinney and Phillip Goodloe III; his nieces, Jasmine Granfors and Isabella
Goodloe; his aunts and uncles; his best friend, Patsy Coleman; and his dear friends, Charlene Adams and Kayla Jordan Adams; as well as a wide circle of extended family and friends who will carry his memory with them.
