Marsha Lee Brunson

Marsha Lee Brunson, born on August 12, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 84. A longtime resident of Winnsboro, Texas, Marsha was a cherished member of her community and a devoted follower of her faith.

As a founding member of the Woman's Ministry at Clearwater Baptist Church, Marsha dedicated her life to serving others and uplifting those around her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories through travel and shared experiences.

Marsha married the love of her life, Robert Wayne Brunson, on November 6, 1959. They shared a beautiful journey together until Robert preceded her in death on December 11, 2020. Marsha was a loving mother to her son, Jeff Brunson, and wife, Linda, and daughter, Laura McCadden, and husband, Andy. She will be missed by her sister, Cheryl Jordan. Marsha took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Ryan McCadden (Nicole), Sean McCadden, Jerromy Brunson (Anais), Travis Brunson (Jehnny), Niki Frost, Christina Ross (Victor), Amanda Ross, and David Lee Ross, as well as a proud great-grandmother to Avery Brunson, Jullian Brunson, Lola Brunson, Sarah Brunson, Jonathan Ross, Nathaniel Ross, Jocelyn Ross, and Naomi Ross.

Marsha was preceded in death by her husband Robert Brunson; parents, Frank Jordan and Dorothy Jordan; and grandchildren, Conor McCadden, Christina Powell, and David Ross

Her determined spirit and unwavering commitment touched the lives of many and she will be profoundly missed.

Funeral services will be held at Clearwater Baptist Church on October 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at Clearwater Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on the day of the service. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro.
