Marsha Lee England, age 75 of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 5:14 pm, in her residence.
Born on July 29, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late George Wilma Compton and Vandatta May (Houghland) Compton.
She married Edward Earl England, who passed away November 29, 2019.
Life resident of Washington County and a 1965 graduate of Salem High School.
She was a long-time employee of Hand and Company framing and art gallery in Salem and former owner of the Loft Art Gallery in Salem and then retired from the West Washington School System.
Marsha was a member of the Canton Christian Church and attended the Salem High Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by:
2 Sons: Joe (Stephanie) England of Salem and Craig (Felishia) England of Pekin; Sister: Cheryl L. (Steve) Hattabaugh of Pekin; Grandchildren: Kendra (Kyle) Lucas of Milltown, Kyle England of Salem, Bailey England of Fishers, Indiana, Carley and Erin England of Pekin and 1 great grandson, Kole Lucas.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister Janice Adkins.
Visitation: 10 am to 1 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Jones officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
