Marsha Polley-Bonin Obituary

Marsha was born in Lewiston, Maine on May 9, 1974, the daughter of Donald C. and Lorry R. (Bubier) Polley. She attended local schools and furthered her education earning a master's degree in accounting.
She worked as the payroll coordinator for the Maine Community College System for many years. Marsha was very smart and a great multi-tasker. She had a strong work ethic, was dedicated, meticulous and thorough with any task she took on and excelled in everything she did.
In her spare time, Marsha enjoyed trail riding her horses, especially her yearly camping and riding vacation in New York with a group of friends. She also loved camping, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Her husband Paul said, "She was my best friend, my companion, my strength, my reason for striving to be a better person, she was still working on the last one but had made progress." She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Marsha was predeceased by her father, Donald C. Polley; sister, Alicia Bubier. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Bonin; mother, Lorry Polley; a brother, Lance Polley and many friends. Marsha was a loving, gentle, kindhearted woman who always took good care of her loved ones.
All service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, ME. Marsha was such a vital part of the Maine Community College System´s success in her payroll role. She approached every task with kindness, dedication, and a genuine care for those around her. Marsha supported colleagues across the state with patience and warmth, and her positive spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. She will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marsha was an absolute joy to work with and a tremendous mentor to me.
I wouldn't be where I am today without her guidance and belief in me. Beyond her professional talent, she took on so much and was always willing to help out, she was a person of immense character and integrity.
She taught me so much, not just about our jobs, but about how to approach life with humor. Thank you, Marsha, for everything. You will be deeply missed by all of us who were lucky enough to call you a colleague and friend.

Marsha was such an amazing person. She was my colleague but also my friend. My heart goes out to her husband Paul, and her friends and family during this difficult time. I will miss her so much and continue to feel a void each time I pick up the phone to call her, which was a multiple time a day occurrence. I have so much love and respect for Marsha, she was an incredible person, inside and out. I feel comfort that she is now with her sister Alicia, who I know she loved and missed so very much.
