Marsha Gail Sterling, 69, Mooresville, passed away on January 21, 2025. Marsha was born October 3, 1955, in Indianapolis. She married Roger Sterling, her high school sweetheart, on January 26, 1974, and he survives.

Marsha graduated from Wood High School. She worked for several years for Lane Bryant. Marsha found great joy in being a childcare provider for her nieces, nephews, and especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Mammy. Marsha was also a fixture at Anderson Orchard, where she was affectionately known as the Caramel Apple Lady.

Level-headed, loving, committed, loyal, and devoted caretaker are all words that embody the beautiful life of Marsha Sterling. She enjoyed listening to music and was fond of her dogs through the years, especially Jimmy. Marsha never missed a sporting event or production that involved her grandchildren. She was a true champion for children, always teaching them practical life lessons as she also cared for them. Marsha will be fondly remembered by her loving family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Louise M. (Hawkins) and Ralph Boswell.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Roger; son, Iran (Erin) Sterling; grandchildren, Owen, Alli, and Drew Sterling; one brother, David Dezern.
