William "Cory" Craig
December 31, 1969 – August 2, 2025
Mooresville, Indiana

Cory, age 55, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., while his wife described their last sunrise together outside the window of his hospice room in Greenwood, Indiana. Cory had battled colon cancer for 7 years, but he suddenly became ill on July 2 when his immune system dropped. His body was attacked by several viruses, causing lesions on his brain.

His parents were William "Bill" Craig, who suddenly passed just before him on July 22, and Susan "Chuck" Craig, still residing in Greenwood. He was a 1989 graduate of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He later attended ITT Technical Institute for Electrical Engineering Technology, where he met his future wife, Karry Lyn Ebert. They graduated in 1993, purchased their first home in Irvington, and were basically inseparable. They were married on September 27, 1997, in Mooresville, Indiana. They adopted their beautiful daughter LeeLoo Lorene Yu Xin Craig in 2005 when they moved to Mooresville, Indiana, to take over Karry's family's small business, Craft-E-Family. They worked side by side ever since and were never apart.

He is deeply missed by his younger sister Lori Marcum and her family, consisting of his brother-in-law Roderick "Rod" Marcum, niece Lucy, and nephew Layne and his wife Anna; his sister-in-law and neighbor Sherry Turner and her children Vanessa and Ross; his aunts and uncles Betty & Steve McGrath and Debbie & Denny Craig; and his cousin Alex Craig. He is also sorely missed by his Dalmatian Petunia, who was always by his side at home and at work, and family cats Miss Kitty and Lavender.

Cory loved working with computers and designed the company website, automation of production, and tons of products for Craft-E-Family. He loved the outdoors, walking in the woods, mushroom hunting, mountain biking, playing golf, and working on his 1959 Apache truck. He was a huge Notre Dame football fan, and he loved watching all the Pacers games on TV. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and a good stout beer.

Way too soon. So incredibly sad. Bill and Cory... way too young. They will be sorely missed. They were both wonderful people.

Cory was a great friend who will truly be missed. We lost touch over the last many years years, but it doesn´t diminish the memories I have of him hanging out drinking beer and driving around in his Chevelle. He was always there if needed and will truly be missed. Cheers my friend see you up there someday God bless.

So sorry for your loss. Cory was a good friend of my son Chris Pedigo and he loved to eat fruity pebbles and pudding pops at our home. He was a good guy.
