Marsha Phyllis Vaughn passed peacefully on December 31, 2022. She was born on January 12, 1960, at Muhlenburg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey to Marlene B. Cathie Barnes and Louis M. Barnes, Sr.
She was the second of 4 children, Renea M. Barnes, Louis M. Barnes Jr and Michael D. Barnes. She also has a deceased husband, Fred H. Vaughn.
To cherish her memories are Quentin Vaughn (Son) and his wife Robin Vaughn, Chanda Deloatch (Daughter) and her husband Curtis Deloatch, Nia Vaughn (Daughter), Cailyn Barnes (Niece), and 3 grandchildren, Zayonna, Jace, and Jackson. She is survived by a host of relatives and friends who will all bare witness to her homegoing.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1977. She went to Rutgers University after High School. She worked for the State of New Jersey for 30 years and retired from there.
She loved her family and always made a room light up. You always felt her presence in a room. She was very sweet. Marsha was truly an angel and was always so loving and caring. She will forever live in our hearts and her impact will always be felt in those she has touched.
Marsha will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Travel well on your way home. Rest well.
