Marsha Kay Wilson

Marsha Kay (Shuey) Wilson, 58, of Holts Summit, passed away on November 7, 2025, at Capital Region Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 29, 1967, in Champaign, Illinois, to Lola "Katie" (Romine) Richey and was blessed to be raised with love and devotion by her and her adoptive father, John Shuey.
Marsha was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Wilson, on April 15, 1997. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing on January 4, 2025.
A creative and hardworking woman, Marsha founded the Momfor8 eBay Store and, alongside her husband, owned and operated Three Phase Industrial Surplus and Salvage LLC, which continues to operate today.
Marsha found joy in life's simple moments - a fresh cup of coffee in hand, chatting with friends on Facebook, or relaxing with a cigarette as she browsed online. She loved the thrill of shopping trips and the excitement of planning her next vacation, especially when they included sunshine and a margarita in hand. But more than anything, Marsha's heart belonged to her family. Her children and grandchildren were truly the center of her world.
Those that remain to cherish Marsha's memory are her children, Laura Hawkins (John), William Kirk, Brian Gilmore (Fran), Harmony Thomas, Melissa Veltrop (David), Destiny Jafuli, Jessica Wilson, Theresa James, Deanna Collins-Ellyson, Joseph Wilson, Carmen Padilla (Amanda Allen), Justice Wilson and Liberty Wilson; brother, Aaron Adkins; sister, Amy Morley (Antony); 25 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and the employees of Three Phase, Amber Nicole, Jack Wood, Billie Simpson, Nate Neely, Chad Laswell.
Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, brother, Mike Shuey, and grandchildren, Gracie Mosby, Karsyn Padilla, Thomas "Tommy" Veltrop, and Ryan Kirk.
Funeral services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Curtis Jahr officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery.
