Marshall Ray Fox, 77, of Stanford, KY passed away at home on Monday, February 17, 2025. Born on March 21, 1947 in Brush Creek, KY to the late Leo and Josie Atwood Fox.
Marshall was a man of many passions. His love for cars and trading was only surpassed by his love for his friends and family. He was a member of the local McDonald's Coffee Club. As a member of the Stanford Church of the Nazarene, Marshall lived his faith every day. Marshall spent his entire career as a Groundman in the Vegetation Management sector. He retired after 56 years of service at Asplundh Tree Expert Co. He was a man who believed in hard work, and his dedication to his work was a testament to his character.
Survivors include his great niece and caregiver, Jennifer Fox of Stanford; two brothers, Leonard Fox (Sue) of Stanford and Kenneth Fox (Charity) of Independence, KY; one sister, Anna Napier of Warren, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Josie Fox; the love of his life, Charlene Malik; and two brothers, Freddie Fox, Sr. and William Fox.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.

My friend Marshall who came in Danville McDonald´s by Walmart. He was a person who would always make you smile and laugh. As a worker there I will miss you my friend. I´m blessed to have known you. I know you are eating your ice cream in a cup with the cone on top up in heaven. May god bless your family at this time and always. I´m so sorry for your loss.
