Survivors include her husband Charles Ray of Crab Orchard; one sibling; Barney Hoskins, four children, Sonja Godbey, Joyce Cooper (Johnny), John Godbey and Gary Godbey, five grandchildren; David (Alesha), Will (Alaina), Thomas, Shelby and Stephanie; and seven great grandchildren; Kathryn, Lorin, Charlie, Woods, Reed, Lane and Jayden.
She was a dedicated nurse and respiratory therapist for 36 years, (21 years with the Golden Living Center of Stanford). She dedicated her life to serving others. She loved many and was loved by many.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY, with Bro. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will follow the service.
Active Pallbearers are David Jackson, Johnny Cooper, Will Cooper, Thomas Cooper, Jason Hoskins and Jimmy Godbey.
Honorary Pallbearer is Shelby Cooper.
