Marshall Mincey, age 70, of Cotton Town, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
He was born on February 18, 1953, in Gallatin, Tennessee, to his parents Horace and Gracie Mincey.
Marshall was very mechanically inclined, he could fix anything-and make it go fast. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction, and was also a farm hand. He worked hard and played hard. Marshall was the life of the party with his friends and wasn't afraid to dance. He also adored his dogs Casper, Rosie, and Huly.
He will be remembered for his big heart.
Marshall Edward Mincey Sr. is survived by his sons, Buster Mincey (Shelley Mincey), Chad Mincey (Wanda Mincey); step son, Jason Lamb; grandchildren, Hunter Mincey, Tyler Mincey, Preston Mincey, Josh Mincey, Erica Goodall (Shaun Goodall); great grandchildren, Aspen McFarland, and Wyxlee Goodall.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Mincey; father, Horace Mincey; mother, Gracie (Brinley) Mincey; and brother, Frank Mincey.
The funeral service of Mr. Marshall Mincey, will be held from the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home, on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.; officiated by Bro. Shawn Carter. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M., until 1:00 P.M., on Monday, as well.
Burial will immediately follow funeral services, in Crestview Memory Gardens. Those serving as pall bearers are Hunter Mincey, Tyler Mincey, Preston Mincey, Billy Shrum, Tommy Cox, and Ronnie Whitefield. Jason Lamb is a Honorary pall bearer.
