Martayvious Dequan Evans

Martayvious Dequan "Tay" Evans, of Rockford departed this earthly life August 18, 2024. He was born January 6, 1998 in Rockford the son of Mona Evans and Orlando McDaniel. Martayvious was employed as a fork lift operator by Wisconsin Cheese Factory. He was of the Muslim Faith. Martayvious graduated from Auburn High School, class of 2016.
Martayvious leaves to cherish many loving memories, his mother Mona Evans and father, Orlando McDaniel; sisters, Dynasti Arrington and Amari Square; brother, Curneilus Arrington; three nieces, Da'nyla, La'niyah and Kylnee; maternal grandmother, Barbara Evans; and paternal grandmother, Louise Pettis; a host aunts, uncles other relatives and friends including special aunt, Margaret Doby; special uncle Charles Doby Jr; and special cousins, Kedrick R. Burden, Dequita, Kamiyah and Mekhi Doby. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Wardell Evans and paternal grandfather Oscar James.
Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Soar Assembly 604 Salter Ave. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
