She was a retired Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson County Sheriff Department, a Catholic by faith, and a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her.
Preceding Kathy in death are her parents, Cornelius Delbert Ballard Sr. and Mary Eleanore Bryan Ballard.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Roxann McGaughey; granddaughter, Cameron Chase Evans; grandson, Tristan Taylor; and siblings, Dolores Shake (Rick), Butch Ballard (Brenda), and Susie Shepherd (Bill).
A celebration of life service for Kathy will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, April 5th at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr., with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 1:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Rattermans.
