Our mother, Martha Calderón, went to be with the Lord on March 1st, 2025. Martha was born in Las Cruces to Felipa Rivera and Jose Rivera on August 27th, 1947. She graduated from Mayfield High School and attended NMSU. She worked in the medical industry/doctor offices for many years. A devoted follower of God, she never lost her faith in the Lord. Martha is survived by her children Joseph Calderón III of Hobbs, NM, James Calderón and Patricia Calderón, both of Las Cruces, NM, her sister Christina Lindsey and her husband Gary of Las Cruces, NM, her brothers Danny Rivera and his wife Irene, of Las Cruces, NM, and Mike Rivera of Las Cruces, NM, former husband Joseph Calderon II of Hobbs, NM and son Nathaniel Calderon of Denver, CO, grandchildren Eligio (Alex) Gonzalez and Alexia (Lexi) Gonzalez, both of Las Cruces, NM, and Elizabeth Calderon of Tucson, AZ, great-granddaughter Azaria Schneider of Tucson, AZ, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral mass to be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, April 25th, 2025, starting at 1 pm, followed by a blessing at the IHM columbarium. Our deepest condolences to the children of Martha Calderón. Martha was an amazing person. Martha was my Boss she taught me so much, we became friends. My husband and I installed the Christmas lights for her one year she was so happy. Rest in Peace and Rest in God´s Kingdom. Until we meet again. Oscar & MaryLou Bustamante
