Martha Eramo Obituary
Martha Eramo passed away on August 14, 2024 at the age of 88 in Vero Beach, Florida.
The daughter and only child of John and Ann (Babinec) Simborski. She was born June 1, 1936. She was a resident of Herkimer and Mohawk, NY before she retired to Florida in 2002. She enjoyed her home and community in the Florida sunshine.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sr. in 2020. She is survived by elder son Joseph Eramo, Jr., and wife Cathy of Wall, New Jersey, son Christopher Eramo and husband Paul Santos of Boston, her granddaughter, Sarah and husband Marc Thalheim of Stamford, CT, and great-grandson, AJ.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer at a later date.

Her funeral arranements have been entrusted to the Petykieiwcz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, Herkimer.

Condolences to Joe and Chris and their families. We all grew up together on Firman Street in Mohawk, NY, during a time when neighbors, young and old, all knew each other and got along. We had so much fun together. I often remember Martha ironing in the kitchen listening to Aretha Franklin on the radio! She was a beautiful lady with a good sense of humor. May she be happily reunited with her parents, husband, and relatives and friends.
