Martha Faye Smith, age 75, a resident of the Water Valley Community in Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Faye was born on September 13, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Glyn Smith and Azilee “Toby” Martin Smith. She was a 1967 graduate of Spring Hill High School. Faye dedicated 37 years of service to Farm Bureau before retiring at the age of 52. Faye enjoyed watching football. She was a devoted member of Thompson Station Church of Christ. Faye’s greatest love was her family, cherishing the time spent with her great-nieces, great great niece, and great great nephew.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her niece, Jennifer (David) Sewell of Santa Fe, nephew, Richard Dean Kincaid of Nashville, great nieces, Shelsea (Seth) Moss, McKenzie (Jamison) Brewer, great great nieces, Gracelynn Moss, Journey Moss, great great nephew, Paxton Moss, and brother in law, Kenneth M. Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie Smith Harris and Joan Marie Kincaid.
Those serving as pallbearers will be David Sewell, Seth Moss, Jamison Brewer, Ken Harris, Buddy Martin, Ben Martin, Troy Maupin, Bryan George, and Chris Neal. Honorary pallbearers will include the members of Thompson Station Church of Christ.
