Martha Fiebig

Martha Fiebig, age 94, of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Born in Detroit to the late Adolf and Olga Fiebig, Martha was an aunt to everyone. A woman of devote Christian faith, Martha took the greatest joy from being with her family and being a friend to all. Working as a bank teller until retirement, Martha was always a very organized person and an avid collector. She had a number of different hobbies collecting various mementos of the years, whether because of their tie to historically significant events in her lifetime or fond memories, her greatest of which was stamps. Martha stayed in touch with her friends writing them letters. When they would mail her back in their correspondence, she would file away the stamp that accompanied. When Martha was on vacation, she would pick up a postcard and write about her travels, which she would save and became a kind of diary of her life in her younger years. A kind and humble woman by nature, Martha made friends everywhere she went so she had a good number of friends that she would write through most of her life. When she was at home, she would relax with whichever book she was reading on whatever topic had peaked her interest at the time. Martha lived the life that she desired, surrounded by the people she loved most, and actively sought out activities and experiences that brought her joy. Her family would say that looking back Martha was quite content with the life she was able to create for herself in her 94 years.
Memorial visitation Friday, November 17th from 4pm until time of Memorial service at 7pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
