Martha "Ann" Fitch

Martha Ann Fitch, formerly of Bellaire, OH, born on September 6, 1939, in Bellaire, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 86, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

Ann dedicated her professional life to serving as a secretary to Dr. Thomas L. Ring, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Thoburn Methodist Church. She also found community and friendship through her involvement with the Wheeling Newcomers and Bellaire Child Guidance.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Y. Armstrong and Martha E. (Quinlan) Armstrong; two infant brothers; her sister, Jane Liden; and her beloved husband, Glenn N. Fitch.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her sons, Rory (Jill) Fitch, Dirk (Mary Beth) Fitch, and Todd (Julie) Fitch; her grandchildren, Courtney (Rick) Irick, Nathaniel (Brieanna) Fitch, Kyle (David) Metzger, Curtis (Diedra) Fitch, Jack (Kaitlyn Workman) Fitch, and Peyton (Austin) Tomko; and her great-grandchildren, Ava and Asher Irick, Charlotte and Josie Fitch, and Finn and Ryan Metzger. She is also survived by a cousin, as well as many nieces and nephews who held her dear. A special thank you to her niece, Pam Mountain, who assisted her in countless ways.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Ann's life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 10 AM until the time of service at noon at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home in Bellaire, OH. Her family and friends will gather to remember a life well-lived and to say their final goodbyes.

Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will endure in the hearts of those she touched.
