Karen Irene Fitch, age 76, of Camden, passed away at the Insight Hospital in Coldwater on Monday, October 13, 2025. She was born on November 10, 1948, to Ernest and Maxine (McCarty) Anderson in Rensselaer Indiana. She married Luther Fitch on September 14, 1964, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2015.
Karen attended school in Kniman, Indiana and went on to work as a kitchen chef, waitress, and truck driver over the years. As a wife and mother of four, she was a thoughtful homemaker. She enjoyed watching soap operas, taking trips to Kentucky with her family, and spending time wrangling her grandchildren.
Survivors include 3 children, Lavonda Melchi, Angella Fitch, and Luther Fitch Jr.; 16 grandchildren, Alice Woodard, Kenneth (Amber) Woodard, Dustin Miller, Jenna (Dannie) Wireman, Dale (Miranda Ware) Mason III, Christopher Fitch, Sharon (Joe Rodesiler) Fitch, Andrew Fitch, Michael (Rachel) Fitch Jr., Jason Fitch, Kayla (Rigo) Castro, Travis (Hayley Mae) Fitch, Heaven Nash, Haley Fitch, Austin (Kailyn Gaul) Fitch, and Devon (Heidi Burniston) Fitch; two brothers, Gordon Anderson, and Kenneth (Sherri) Anderson; numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Michael Fitch; sister, Sharon Anderson; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Anderson; and one grandchild in infancy.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Camden Cemetery with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home George White Chapel in Reading.

Granny was my favorite person she was a good person with a huge heart and always wished me happy birthday I will miss her, I visited her at the laurels in Coldwater and she asked me to bring her a three musketeers candy bar
