Martha "Marti" Rose Gammon went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 25, 2025, at the age of 73. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN.
She was born August 22,1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John and Virginia Gammon.
Marti is survived by her three sons: Stephan (Annette) Platt, Nathan Platt, and Joshua Platt. She had two grandsons: Andrew Platt and Landon.
She was a loving sister to four brothers: Dan, Ron, Phil, John, and her identical twin sister and best friend, Mary, they were inseparable. A loving aunt, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Marti was a loving mother and grandmother, they were her world, and she would have done anything for them. She loved going to Andrew’s baseball, football, and basketball games, then going out to eat afterwards. She also enjoyed watching the Colts and NASCAR with her family and friends.
Marti loved singing with her twin sister, dancing and having fun with her friends. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, playing cards and board games and being with her family. Marti had a special place in her heart for children, even in her retirement years she ran a childcare business in her home with her sister Mary. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. Marti enjoyed baking and making crafts with her sister Mary.
