Martha Howell "Mot" Greene

Martha "Mot" Ann Howell Underwood Greene, 93, wife of the late Fred A. Greene and John D. Underwood, Jr. passed away October 31, 2025.
A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late Rev. Furman Toy and Agnes Bruce Howell, she was a retired employee of PAT Chemical and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Tanya Underwood Foushee and Ronald "Ron" Foushee; four step-children, Barry Greene (Elise), James Greene (Heidi), Peggy Greene, Stephen Greene (Diana); grandsons, Mike Foushee (Jennifer) and Steve Foushee (Jaime); and many beloved great grandchildren.
Mrs. Greene was predeceased by a brother, Furman Bruce Howell (Lora Pace), and survived by a nephew LaVerne Howell (Susan); nieces Linda Collins (Gene) and Lisa Jones (Justin); and grand nephews Pace Howell, Jason Collins (Tara, Cooper, and Maximus) and Andrew Collins (Maggie, Drew, and Liam).
She is also survived by dear family friends, Raquel and Thomas Gonick, their two sons, Ivan and Eddie, and their three grandchildren Andy, Ollie and Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Justin Jones.
The family will receive friends after the service at the gravesite.
The family will be at their respective homes.
