Martha J. Hoge

Mattawamkeag- Martha J. Hoge, 79, passed away peacefully after a period of declining health on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Martha was born in Longview, Texas on November 26, 1946.
Martha was an amazing woman who had deep love for her family. Anyone that knew her, knew that she had many life passions, but the one that sticks out was her passion for rocks. You could always count on Martha getting sidetracked walking into a house or out and about finding rocks to later paint and gift to her loved ones. She had a creative mind that gave her a love for painting and drawing. She also loved her family get togethers, cooking, baking, tending to her plants and her flowers.
Martha is survived by her husband, Ronald Hoge; their children, Robert Hoge, Eva Marie Whittle and husband Jerimiah, Juanita Morrow and husband Edward, Clyde Tibbetts Jr. and his wife Angie, John Tibbetts and his wife Ashley, Terry Tibbetts and his significant other, Sarah; 24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; her brothers, James White, Paul White, Cecil White and John White. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Edward Young and Paul Wesley Wilkins and her brother, Robert White.
Friends may call from 2-4PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Bowers Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, ME. At 4PM there will be a funeral service for Martha at the funeral home, with a reception to follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 144 Penobscot Valley Ave., Lincoln. Interment will take place in the Spring of 2026 at Mattawamkeag Cemetery.
