Martha Marie (Haskins) Inglish, 76, was born in Houston, Texas on January 31st, 1948. After a hard-fought battle with a Glioblastoma, she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 21, 2024. Martha, affectionally nicknamed Tootsie by her family, grew up in Spring Valley Village and graduated Spring Branch High School in 1966.
Martha was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Jim for over 37 years. Jim and Martha met in 1985 at a Ford dealership where they were both employed. When they met, Martha was a single mom raising her four children. Jim and Martha married a year later. Together, they had her fifth child. Martha had a deep faith in God, was a devout Catholic, and went to daily mass at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land.
She loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren, who meant the world to her. When they were younger, she would often take them shopping (always at the Galleria), take trips to the Zoo, and take them to feed the ducks on her favorite walking trail. She also enjoyed weekly trips to Galveston, specifically The Strand. Another passion of hers was going on regular camping trips near the banks of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels.
Martha spent most of her career as a caregiver at Master and Missy, a daycare owned by Jimmy and Landa Fong, who later became her dear friends. She specialized in the care of newborns, whom she loved dearly.
Martha is survived by her husband James B. Inglish III, her children Paul John (PJ) Dimiceli II and his wife Melanie, Patrick Henry Dimiceli, Gina Katherine Dimiceli, James B. Inglish IV; her sisters Betty Ann Helton and her husband Jimmy, Norma Reiss; grandchildren Jack Dimiceli, Bella Dimiceli, Hayden Dimiceli; and nephews Andy Helton, Grant Lund, Parker Lund, Martin Reiss, and Adam Reiss. Martha was preceded in death by her parents B.M. and Marie Haskins, her daughter Katina Marie Dimiceli, her father-in-law James B. Inglish Jr and her mother-in-law Nora Covell Inglish.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a donation to The American Cancer Society or any charity of your choice in Martha's name.

The Mass of Christian Burial will commence Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:45 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77498.
