Martha Jean Lambert, 77, entered into rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Martha was born on May 26, 1947, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to the late Francis and Charlotte Mosher. A kind and compassionate woman, Martha was known as a doting grandmother and a lover of basset hounds. Her sweet countenance will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, John Melvin Lambert.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Jennifer Edmunds (Jeff) of Perry and Ethan Lambert (Carrie) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alana, Hailey, Jackson, and Charlotte; and siblings, Lois Mosher and Todd Mosher, both of Massachusetts.
Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Martha will be laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
