Pyne Keohane Funeral Home - HinghamMartha V. Linares (Vermeulen), of Hingham, passed away August 13, 2025. The beloved wife of 65 years to Robert C. “Bob" Linares. Cherished mother of Denise Adams and her husband Ed, Hilerie Rose and her husband Eddie, Bryant Linares and his wife Lisa, David Linares and his wife Sue and Alicia Novak and her husband John. Devoted Oma to Cameron, Zachary, Charlotte, Olivia, Edward, Anna, Chloe, Emily and Mitchell and her great grandson Ronen.
Martha will be remembered for her devotion to family, and her service to others. She was a Registered Nurse by training and used those skills in many work and volunteer positions, including her dedication to Hospice as well as other organizations. She was a lifelong artist, and passed this love of art and music and books to her family and many others, including her work as a docent at the Danforth Museum. Wherever she went, she found opportunities to give back to the community she called home, through church, arts, libraries and gardening groups.
A “Celebration of Life” service will be held in House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 916 Main Street, Hingham, on Saturday, October 25. Visitation with family 12:00 to 12:45; Service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Martha may be made to Norwell Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02060, or another charity of your own choice.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
