Dearborn, MI. Born on June 28, 1955, Martha was the beloved daughter of the late Lillian Trueblood. Her vibrant spirit and nurturing presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Martha's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to serving others. As a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she was actively involved in various church activities, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. Her commitment to her faith extended beyond the church walls as she generously gave her time to Meals on Wheels, ensuring that those less fortunate were cared for and nourished.
Martha's love for her family was boundless. She was a beloved wife to the late Michael Matson. She was a guiding light to her children, Anne (Steve Laurenzo) McKee, William (Jennifer) Matson, and Karissa Matson, instilling in them the values of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Her role as a mother was one she cherished above all, and her legacy will live on through the lives of her children and the memories they hold dear. She later became a grandmother to her beloved Lyric Matson, a role she cherished deeply.
A sister of great affection and camaraderie, Martha shared an unbreakable bond with her brothers, Todd (Gloria) and Charlie Trueblood, and remembered fondly her late sister, Barbara (Stan) Czyzak. Her nieces and nephews, especially Robin Oxford, knew her as the fun and spirited aunt who could always be counted on for an adventure or a heartfelt conversation.
