Martha Carolyn (McDonald) Jackson, a cherished mother and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on October 23, 1935, in Clarendon, Texas, Martha's early life was marked by a deep commitment to her education and her community. She attended local schools and furthered her studies at community college, laying a foundation for a life full of dedication to family and service.

In the heart of Fort Worth, Texas, Martha married Kenneth Earl Jackson, embarking on a beautiful journey of love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with warmth and trust, and Martha fully embraced the role of a devoted homemaker while lovingly raising her children. As her children grew older, Martha gracefully transitioned into the workforce, taking on a position as a secretary at Kubota Tractor Company in Dallas, Texas.  Martha was a woman of many passions and talents. She found immense joy in gardening, creating a serene and vibrant environment that reflected her nurturing spirit. Her love for music was evident in her skillful piano playing, a gift she shared with family and friends. Martha's home was filled with many thriving plants that flourished under her meticulous care. Family was the cornerstone of Martha's life. She was the embodiment of a picture-perfect mother, instilling in her children the values of hard work, compassion, and togetherness. Evening meals were sacred in her household; every night, she prepared a hot meal that brought the family together, reinforcing the bonds that defined their lives.

Preceding her in death are her parents, William and May Pearl; husband, Kenneth Jackson; daughter, Sharon Jackson; brothers, Bob McDonald and Harold McDonald; daughter-in-law, Pebbles (Bartlett) Jackson.

Survivors include her son Greg Jackson of Healdton; granddaughter, Erika Martin and husband Brandon of Healdton; great grandchildren, Brenna Martin and Jackson Martin; numerous other family and friends.
