Martha Messamore Obituary
Farrar Funeral Home- Dandridge
Martha Messamore, age 87, of New Market passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her home.
A loving and dedicated wife, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie “Jack” Messamore, and her parents, Charlie and Hazel Jack.
She is survived by her nephews, Steve (Joan) Messamore, Zane (Cale) Messamore; other nieces and nephews and her fur baby the cat, Smokey; brother-in-law, Bob Messamore and sister-in-law, Bernice Kerr; great nieces and nephews, Evie Jean, Charlie, Cooper, Jeb “Little Jack” Messamore, and Timber & Dakota Seals; special caregivers, Pam Buckner, Penny Eldreth, and Aline Lyles. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 822 Epco Drive, Dandridge, TN 37725.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home chapel, Dandridge, with Rev. Carl Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends prior to services from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The graveside interment will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge.
