Ms. Reed was born on August 8, 1954, in Jennings to George Broussard and Eva LeJeune. She was a sitter in the healthcare industry. Ms. Reed was well suited for her profession because she never met a stranger, and her beautiful smile could light up any room. She loved cats and enjoyed drinking coffee. She cherished her family and most especially her grandchildren. She lived in the Jennings area her entire life.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimya Anderson of The Woodlands, TX; special friends, Kaitlyn (Tylor) Boutte and Janie (Quentin) Marx; Niece, Julie Marks McDaniels; cousin, Martin (Annette) Landry; grandchildren, Madesyn Anderson and Maliek Prudhomme; great grandchildren, Aurora Prudhomme, Kailor Prudhomme and Hunter Prudhomme.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Urlene Benoit and a brother, Carrie Marx.
Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings.
