Martha Zawacki Anthony Obituary- She was a vibrant spirit!
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Martha Emily Zawacki, 93.
Martha passed away in her Glastonbury home, where she had been a resident for 67 years. She leaves behind her children, Allen Anthony, Sue Monk, Jeff Anthony, and David Anthony, and their spouses, along with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Martha was predeceased in 2009 by her husband of 56 years, Anthony Henry Zawacki, a World War II Navy veteran.
Born and raised in Hartford, Martha briefly pursued a modeling career before marrying Tony and moving to Glastonbury. In 1976, she earned her Connecticut real estate license, embarking on a successful 25-year career. Driven by her compassionate nature, business knowledge, and Polish fluency, she established the Polish Connection in 2005, where she supported the sick and elderly until her final days.
Martha was a dedicated member of SS. Isidore and Maria Parish and a CYO advisor for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid cook and baker, skills she passed along to the next generation.
She will be greatly missed, but forever loved. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury at 10:00 am to celebrate Martha's remarkable life. For online condolences, please visit www.mulyranfh.com.

Martha lived a full and well-lived life. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother. An excellent business person achieving success in all she pursued. Rest in peace, god bless.

I am saddened with the passing of Martha. I worked with Martha as an agent , then her Manager. She was committed and great at whatever she did, for many years one of the best in Glastonbury. I watched and listened as she
started and grew the organization for opportunity for Polish people with
the same effort as her Real Estate.

I had the pleasure of meeting Martha in 2019 when I volunteered to take walks with her; little did I know that we would remain friends and enjoy each other´s company for the remainder of her life. We shared many discussions, recipes, books, and talked about our families and how much they have meant to us. Martha was such a smart and spirited woman with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. I will miss her. My condolences to her family.
