Martin Rene Borquez, age 50, passed away on February 7, 2025. Proceeded in death by father, Frausto A. Borquez Sr.; mother, Alicia C. Borquez; and brother, Frausto Borquez Jr. Martin will be remembered as a loving husband and caring father to his wife and four daughters. Martin fully embraced the lifestyle of a rancher, owning several horses, goats, and multiple chickens and roosters. He inspired his daughters with the lessons he learned from caring for his livestock, instilling a profound sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic. Martin loved spending time in nature and teaching his daughters how to ride horses and ATVs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them how to work outside in his workshop. Martin also loved sharing a morning cup of coffee with his wife before leaving for work and starting the day.
Martin enjoyed customizing metal projects. As a welder, he was able to support his family while decorating his home and yard with his artistic creations. Martin enjoyed spending time outside gardening, caring for his animals, or around the bonfire while having a carne asada with family and friends sharing laughs and memories. As a handyman, Martin often completed home projects with his sons-in-law, ensuring his family was well taken care of. Martin truly loved his family and will be missed deeply. In the words of Martin, "What's really going on?"
