DOPAZO, Martin. Of Rose Bud, Arkansas, formerly of Brookline, MA. Died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on June 17, 2025 in Rose Bud, Arkansas. Born on September 8, 1960, in Milton Common, England. Loving Father of Bridgette Dopazo and her partner Mimsy Sims and grandfather ("Opa") of Anja Sims-Dopazo all of Seattle, WA. Devoted and loving son of Elisabeth Dopazo of Brookline, MA. and the late Francisco Juan Dopazo. Loving brother of Jennifer Dopazo Gilbert and her husband Edward Gilbert of Dedham, MA. Dear Uncle of Robert Francisco Bizier of Boston, MA. Also survived by his aunt Gisela Stapelfeldt of Lubeck, Germany and many cousins in Germany and Spain and also Brookline, MA. Martin, immigrated to this country with his parents when he was 5 years old. He grew up in Brookline attending Lincoln School and graduating in 1978 from Brookline High School. Martin was an avid fisherman who enjoyed taking families on fishing trips over the many years he lived on Cape Cod. He had recently found happiness and peace in his new home in Rose Bud, Arkansas where he enjoyed gardening and meeting new friends. His keen intellect, sharp wit and character will be missed by many. Services will be private. In lieu of donations or flowers people are asked to visit or send a card to his Mother, Elisabeth Dopazo, Goddard House, #204, 165 Chestnut Street, Brookline, MA 02445.
