Martin "Marty" Johnson

Martin D. Johnson, of Edmonds, WA, passed away on 8/26/2025. Marty will be remembered for his razor-sharp wit and great sense of humor. He was always thoughtful of others-kind and generous to a fault. A gifted carpenter, he could build or fix just about anything and was always the first to offer help to friends, family, and strangers alike. His natural way with people made him a talented salesman who could brighten a room and bring people together. He was always friendly and could easily turn strangers into friends and friends into family. He loved time spent at Edmonds Beach and Lake Chelan, where he found peace and joy. Above all, he loved his family and the time he shared with them. He is survived by his children - Joshua, Jacob, Joseph, and Jessica, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Julie, Mary, Jim, Therese, Jeff, and Ronnie, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Ronald and Marjory Johnson, and his brother Phil. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on 10/1/2025 at Holy Rosary Parish in Edmonds, WA.
