Martin Lewis King, age 67 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Friday March 29, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on October 5, 1956 the son of Thomas “TJ” and Fayrene (Kidd) King. Martin had worked in the Slaughter House and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of God. He loved guns, knives, hunting, fishing, camping, riding, but most importantly his family.
His father, TJ King; first wife, Margie (Taylor) King; daughter, Elizabeth Gwen King; brother, Jason King; and sister Debbie Canada precede him in death.
Survivors include is wife, Brenda (Sexton) King of Pine Knot, Kentucky; mother, Fayrene Sharpton of Pine Knot, Kentucky; son, Josh King and wife, Sami Jo of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Wayne King of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Dwight King (Billy) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Richard King (Daphne) of Whitley City, Kentucky; sister, Abby Stephens of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, Charli, and Chantay; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 12pm Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Meadows officiating. Burial to follow in the Old Pigeon Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
